CDL A DRIVER – FLATBED | WEEKENDS HOME | UP TO $1,600/WK

Position Type: Full-Time

Freight: Flatbed (Tarping & Strapping Required)

💰 PAY & COMPENSATION

Average Weekly: $1,400 – $1,600
Pay Structure: 27% of load
Estimated CPM Equivalent: ~$0.70/mile
Miles: 2,000 – 2,500/week

Additional Pay:

Tarp Pay: $40 per load
Detention: $16/hr after 2 hours
Layover: $50/day
Breakdown: $100/day
Per Diem: $300/week (non-taxed portion)

💸 SIGN-ON BONUS – $5,000

$1,500 after first load
$1,500 at 6 months
$2,000 at 1 year

(Not eligible if 6+ jobs in last 3 years)

🚚 POSITION DETAILS

Freight Type: Flatbed
Unload: Driver assist (tarping/strapping required)
Running Area: All 48 states
Typical Lanes: Regional (usually within 5 states)
Dispatch: Non-forced (flexible)
NYC Deliveries: Yes

🏠 HOME TIME

Home Weekly (Weekend Reset)
Monday–Friday / Saturday schedule
34-hour reset required

⚠️ REQUIREMENTS

CDL-A required
Minimum 12 months experience
Must be physically able to tarp & secure loads

⚠️ JOB CONDITIONS

40%–50% of loads require tarping
Outdoor work in all weather conditions
Physically active position

🚛 EQUIPMENT & PERKS

Assigned trucks
Take truck home (must be attached to trailer)
Riders allowed (18+) – FREE
Pets allowed – no restrictions
24/7 dispatch support

🎓 ORIENTATION

Location: Birmingham, AL
Duration: 3 days (Mon–Thurs)
Pay:$1,500 (from sign-on bonus)
load pay (no holdbacks)
Hotel provided (private room)
Meals provided (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Travel provided (flight or rental car)
